About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Tax Associate to join our team at Intuit. As a Business Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to our customers.Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations
• Prepare and file business and personal tax returns using commercial tax preparation software
• Provide tax advice and explanations to customers
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate and timely solutions
• Document customer interactions and work towards meeting company key performance metricsRequirements
  • 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal Tax Preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting
  • Commit to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week throughout the tax season
  • Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is strongly preferred
  • Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
  • Must possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Working knowledge of Circular 230
  • Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software
  • Strong customer service skills - ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria and a quiet location in which to work
