Job Description:

Our client specializes in providing high-quality pumps to a broad range of industrial markets and applications in the water industry. This is a newly created position with a dynamic US-based firm backed by a US equity group. The ideal candidate will be a high-impact player, serving as a key strategic thought partner to the Chief Executive Officer and broader leadership team. The candidate will serve an important role in driving growth across the different business units.
Responsibilities of this position include:

• Aligning the executive team around financial objectives and helping achieve business goals.
  
• Positioning the company using strategic planning and the development of people processes and systems for significant growth.
  
• Leading all financial planning and analysis activities, including ownership of monthly financial statements, annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, KPI management, and operational analytics processes that inform leadership on real-time performance.
  
• Ensuring completeness and correctness in all financial reporting and determining appropriate methodology to prepare financial information for use by others.
  
• Leading the on-going development and maintenance of all finance and accounting policies and procedures.
  
• Overseeing a timely monthly close and providing regular flash reports internally and externally to key stakeholders.
  
• Overseeing the accounting systems, processes, and procedures to record, monitor, and report on the organization's assets and liabilities in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and all regulatory requirements.
  
• Assisting in the M&A process to help evaluate and integrate acquisitions.
  
• Identifying, developing, and working to implement best practices across the organization.
  
• Overseeing HR and insurance policies and procedures.
  
• Developing, leading, and mentoring supporting finance, accounting, and administrative resources.
  
  Qualifications for this position include:
  
  
• Bachelor's Degree: MBA/CPA preferred.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  
• Experience working within fluid handling or small business manufacturing preferred.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-focused working environment.
  
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant and progressive accounting and finance work experience.
  
• ERP implementation experience preferred.
  
• Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks, including integration from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
  
• Experience in an investor-backed company with a board and professional monthly reporting.
  
• Experience in a leveraged environment including monthly reporting requirement and quarterly covenant requirements to the lender.
