Job Description:
A company is looking for a Cross Coverage Representative to
support various departments within the Billing Center.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information in
the IDX system
Post payments and adjustments from various insurance carriers and
research accounts as needed
Handle customer service calls and process daily mail for assigned
groups
Required Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in
medical billing preferred
Three years of medical billing experience, particularly in
Registration and Charge Entry
Knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement is required
Familiarity with IDX-BAR system is preferred
Ability to work independently or as part of a team within set
timeframes
