A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Infrastructure Technician.Position type: Full-time - ContractDuration: 6+ monthsLocation: Jacksonville, FL & Orlando, FLAs an Infrastructure Technician, you will:
--- Perform 75% cabling work (95% copper; 5% fiber) and 25% network tasks (Layer 1/Physical Layer).
--- Install, test, terminate, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling (CAT 5/6, fiber).
--- Rack and stack network devices.
--- Conduct break/fix, moves, adds, and changes (MACs).
--- Perform cable patching.
--- Familiarity with 66 Block and 110 Block cross-connect procedures.
--- Install Cisco devices (Layer 1/Physical Layer).
--- Basic knowledge of Cisco switches and routers.Requirements:
--- 2+ years of relevant experience in a Field Technician role.
--- Valid Driver's License and ability to safely drive a company vehicle.
--- Comfortable with a travel radius of up to 5 hours and open to more travel as needed.
--- Preferred certifications: BICSI.Note: We are seeking dedicated Technicians to join the team. The ideal candidates will be comfortable with dispatch work and understand that the job does not guarantee a standard 40-hour work week, though it usually equates to 40+ hours over the course of a year.
