The Automated Pouching Operations Line Mechanic/Operator is
responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting
pouching machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality
output. This role involves performing routine maintenance,
addressing mechanical issues, and ensuring safety and quality
standards compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor pouching machines to ensure optimal
performance and product quality
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pouching machines to
prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation
Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize
production interruptions
Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality
specifications. Conduct periodic checks and implement corrective
actions as necessary
Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine
performance, maintenance tasks, and quality control data
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Promote a safe
working environment
Work closely with other departments, such as quality control and
maintenance, to ensure smooth production processes
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment,
particularly in pouching operations
Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine
maintenance tasks
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good computer skills to use the Manufacturing Reporting System
Ability to work well in a team environment
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and handle materials throughout
the shift
