• Plans and executes moderately complex change control projects requiring conceptual evaluation, design and validation.
• Identifies, plans and executes complex change control projects requiring conceptual evaluation, design and validation.
• Identifies, plans and executes complex qualification of new equipment/controls and assists in vendor and site acceptance testing to meet engineering standards.
• Identifies and implements standard methodologies of project management.
• Participates in technical design reviews for machine requirements and manufacturing/product specifications.
• Supervises teams of outside designers, consultants, and contractors.
• Performs concept analysis of capital projects for future project development.
• Provides training and support to Operations Engineers and Technicians to operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Identification and resolution of Corrective/Preventative actions to address Quality, Technical, and Manufacturing issues (Audit Actions, NCR's, CAPA's, etc).
• Utilizes cross functional collaboration with safety, quality, and operations to meet business objectives.
• Provides mentoring and technical guidance to junior level engineers, interns and/or co-ops.
• Displays deep technical expertise and influence within functional team and cross functionally.
• Serves as a change agent by creating a learning culture and experimental mindset within the department and organization to improve business performance. QualificationsEducation:
  • University/Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalentExperience and Skills:Required:
    • 4 to 6 years of experience.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
    • Ability to work in an empowered work team environment is required.Preferred:
      • Operations experience in manufacturing, production supervision, front-line leading
      • Experience working with vendors to select, source, quote, and procure off the shelf and custom designed components.
