The Benefits of working at BJ's --- BJ's pays weekly --- Eligible for free BJ's Inner Circle and Supplemental membership(s) --- Generous time off programs to support busy lifestyles o Vacation, Personal, Holiday, Sick, Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty --- Benefit plans for your changing needs o Three medical plans , Health Savings Account (HSA), two dental plans, vision plan, flexible spending --- 401(k) plan with company match (must be at least 18 years old) eligibility requirements vary by position medical plans vary by location Overseeing and monitoring all aspects of facility and security management within the distribution center, to include: (1) ensuring all power equipment and operating fixtures are functional; (2) managing facility repairs, both internal and external, including air handling systems, electricity, plumbing and facility housekeeping, landscaping and grounds maintenance; (3) reviewing and prioritization of capital budget expenditures; (4) providing guidance in selecting contracted services by reviewing bids, assisting in negotiating and selecting contracted services; (5) ensuring compliance of all Federal, State and City regulations, life/safety and building codes; (6) overseeing the security force to ensure asset protection procedures and access control are adhered to; (7) ensuring the distribution center maintains record integrity of all trailer yard locations and trailer movements; (8) ensuring that the building is secure and alarmed during non-working hours; and (9) executing safety standards, policies, and procedures. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Oversee daily activities of the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Security Departments. Create and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment and facility care. Ensure 100% safety and security procedure compliance of all warehouse personnel. Assist with the management of warehouse operations.
• Develop effective security and maintenance staff to provide uninterrupted around-the-clock facility, security and maintenance coverage. Review and evaluate performance evaluations and other administrative functions as required to develop and maintain an effective security and maintenance staff.
• Support and work with DC Management to help conduct investigations for incidents involving safety, security and team member integrity.
• Monitor and control expenses by negotiating and bidding contracted services and goods. Ensure all Federal, State, and City licenses and inspections are current. Communicate in a timely fashion any potential issues. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in Distribution environment in maintenance or project related position and two years of security of law enforcement experience. Prior retail/warehouse experience preferred. Job Conditions
    In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $100,500.00.
