• Certification Details
• Bachelor's Degree must be from an accredited CAAHEP approved program.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, EFM, Tech Cert Verification - National, HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement, State License Verification, NURSYS Verification, NIH Stroke Certification, Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication), Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam - required certifications and verifications detailed below.

  • This is for a cytotechnologist and must have the ASCP and Florida State license.
  • Job hours: 0830-1700 MON-FRIDAY
  • Years of experience- Required at least 1 year of experience. More than 1 year Microscopic Interpretation Experience, Specimen Processing Experience
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Special Requirements/Skills: Maintains expertise in collection, processing, staining and microscope interpretation of cytologic specimens. Performs computer, clerical, safety and quality improvement functions as defined in the laboratory general and section-specific policy and procedure manuals. May instruct new employees, Cytotechnologists and Cytopreparatory technicians.
