RWD Service Field TechnicianDescription: Renaissance Windows and Doors is a growing manufacturer of premium quality windows and doors in Florida. We have immediate openings for technicians in the field. We are looking for hard working, dependable individuals who possess carpentry or mechanical skills and take pride in their work to join our team. Benefits of working for Renaissance Windows and Doors: -- Medical, Dental and Vision insurance-- 401(k) plan-- Accrued Paid time off-- Paid HolidaysJob Summary: A Field Service Technician is responsible for providing great customer service, help replace glass in windows and doors, install item such as window screens, install window and door sash, and hardware, and meet company safety requirements. Essential Functions:Drive up to 6 hours in a single dayReplaces glass in windows or doors; Installs items such as window screens, install window or door sash, hardware, etc.Performs job site walk-through's and completes necessary paperwork, identifies items that need attention or correction prior to project finalizationMeets company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel (i.e., shoes, safety glasses, etc.), and reporting any safety issues to the managerPrimary Responsibilities:Performs and completes service jobs on Renaissance Windows and Doors products in the fieldProblem solves and diagnoses difficult issues in the fieldProvides Customers with helpful information on the care, operation and maintenance of their window productsGenerates and updates all service-related completes in Service Module following a service visit so that additional service calls can be scheduled, if necessary, and billing or credit can be completed.Conducts any necessary follow up service work or communication to bring resolution and a Very Satisfied Customer Service Rating from all Customers; Serves as a Customer Service Champion at all timesIdentifies and orders parts over via Service Module The ability to be a problem solver and manage multiple tasks, appropriately prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.Loads Service van with all necessary parts and equipment on an as-needed basis, no less than weeklyAbides by company Mission Statement, striving to achieve corporate goal of 100% Customer satisfaction, while making it easy for Customers to do business with the company and promoting market share growth.May be asked to assist in the training of new Field Service Technicians or employees in other departmentsMaintains assigned Service vehiclePerforms any other necessary task assigned by the supervisor or company in support of company goals or assistance with customer issuesCompletes service work orders and communicates any ongoing customer or product related issues with advisorsMust have a valid driver's license and be in compliance with company Fleet Safety PolicyPromotes and facilitates continuous improvement activities in the departmentRequirements: Physical Requirements:Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to drive up to 6 hours in a single day.Ability to use/read/follow a map.Window and/or door experience (product knowledge) is preferredThe ability to lift 75-100 poundsAbility to work off a ladder, up to 40 feet.Able to use hand and power tools safely and correctly.Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are requiredMust be able to stand on your feet for long periods of timeAbility to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a dayEntry Level Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentGreat communication skills to work with customersAmazing problem-solving skillsA technical degree is preferableAbility to diagnose problems with equipmentGreat mechanical aptitudeAbility to communicate in EnglishPayrate- $22.00- $25.00 per hourRenaissance Windows and Doors is an equal opportunity employer.
