Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lost Time Claims Specialist -
Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage indemnity claims by evaluating and establishing action plans
for medical and indemnity benefits
Conduct investigations and gather facts to determine claim
compensability and eligibility for benefits
Collaborate with various stakeholders to manage claims costs and
facilitate injured workers' return to work
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is
preferred
Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation
insurance required
One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly
preferred
Experience in workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and
court procedures
Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
